Overview of the Hydrotherapy Journey at Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos

| |

Luxurious, relaxing, AND complimentary?!  The hydrotherapy water therapy journey at the spa at Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos was definitely one of our favorite perks of staying at this fabulous adult only, all inclusive resort. This experience takes about an hour and makes you feel like you had the ultimate spa day without spending the extra money.  Below I’m sharing more about the best way to start your day at Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos Resort.

This resort is known for its beautiful spa and we took full advantage of the opportunity to “zen out” and feel completely pampered.  Have your butler (yes, a butler is also included with your stay here!) secure a time each day when you first arrive at the resort.  You will wear your swimsuit throughout the experience and you will be provided with a robe, slippers, and towels. You can leave your gear in your locker and your assigned attendant will lead you through a range of sensory treatment rooms and provide you with a variety of juices, elixirs, and teas to enhance your experience.  We did tip our attendant at the end of each day–they are all so lovely!

Your journey begins in the dry sauna that smells of orange and cinnamon. The cold towel infused with aromatherapy was the perfect complement to this experience.  Your post-sauna tonic is a delicious combination of ginger and lime followed by a visit to their ice room for a quick cool down.  Here you ice your body down and apply aloe vera gel and enjoy a hibiscus and cinnamon tonic.

The next stop in your journey is a lavender rosemary facial mud mask and a heat treatment conditioner for your hair, before escaping to the eucalyptus steam room.  You then visit the rain showers and followed by their wonderful heated loungers.  The shape of these fit your back perfectly and while you lay here, your attendant will apply chilled cucumber slices to your eyes, along with an aromatherapy washcloth all while you enjoy the best part –a scalp massage! Seriously, why are scalp massages the ultimate next level of relaxation?!

The last part of your journey are the hydro pools offering a cold and hot tub.  There are cabanas in this area where you can also relax and drink tea or other juice infusions.  The most unique part of this was having access to the cold plunge pool.  I have been reading about the benefits of cold therapy and so each morning, we had a goal of remaining in the cold water for three minutes.  It is a challenge, but if you can hang in there, it does get easier and will leave you feeling so rejuvenated!

There are so many reasons to stay at Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos (and they also have one in Cancun!), but their hydrotherapy journey is at the top of mine!  Are you ready to plan your stay here? I would love to help you–be sure to ask me about complimentary room upgrade offers and a VIP cabana for the day! You can email me at: [email protected] or request a quote here.
